Like a car, boilers are complex and should be regularly inspected by a professional. An annual boiler service will help to keep your system working as it should. It should also help to keep it running efficiently, and it’ll protect against breakdowns. An annual boiler service also tends to be a condition of the manufacturer’s warranty, so making sure you schedule a service could save you from having to pay out if any repairs are needed.

Although an annual boiler service is recommended, you should arrange a service sooner if your boiler keeps getting faults, making weird noises or if there are any other causes for concern. During the service, our engineers will check for leaks, wear and tear, and problems with the gas flue.

Our experts can service almost any domestic or commercial boiler unit to the manufacturers guidelines (excluding oil-fired boilers.)

Can you smell gas?

If you think you can smell gas, call 0800 111 999 immediately for the National Gas Emergency Helpline. The Gas Safe register’s website outlines what to watch out for and what to do. The National Grid will turn off your gas supply. They will make it safe, but they won’t fix the problem.

After you’ve called the helpline, contact us. One of our engineers will find the cause of the issue and fix it. If we happen to arrive before the National Grid, we’ll turn off the gas supply first. When they arrive, they can let us know if the environment is safe.

Note: a gas leak that’s found to be on the street-side of your gas metre is up to your gas supplier to fix.
